Noticify is built on a simple principle: your data is yours. We collect only what is necessary to provide the service and never sell your information to third parties.

2. What Data We Collect and Why
We only collect data that is necessary to provide Noticify's core functionality.
2.1 Account Information (Google Sign-In)
When you sign in with Google, we receive and store:

2.2 Account Information (Apple Sign-In)
When you sign in with Apple, we receive and store:

2.3 Google Calendar Access
📅 We request access to your Google Calendar solely to create new calendar events that you explicitly approve. We do NOT read, modify, delete, or share your existing calendar data.
Specifically, we use the calendar.events scope which allows us to:
- ✅ Create new events in your selected Google Calendar
- ❌ We do NOT read your existing events
- ❌ We do NOT modify your existing events
- ❌ We do NOT delete any events or calendars
- ❌ We do NOT share your calendar data with anyone
- ❌ We do NOT store any calendar data on our servers
The OAuth access token is stored locally on your device and is used only when you explicitly save an event. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings.
2.4 Photos and Images
When you scan a photo or flyer:
- The image is sent to our AI service for event extraction
- Images are processed in real-time and immediately deleted after extraction
- We do not store, analyze, or use your photos for any other purpose
2.5 Voice Input
When you use voice input:
- Audio is processed locally on your device using iOS speech recognition
- The transcribed text is sent to our AI for event extraction
- We do not store or retain any audio recordings
2.6 Usage Analytics
We use Mixpanel to collect anonymous usage data including:
- Number of scans performed
- Events saved
- Sign-in method used (Google or Apple)
- App language preference
This data is anonymous and used only to improve the app. It is never linked to your personal identity.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate you and personalize your experience
- To extract event details from your photos, text, and voice input
- To create calendar events you explicitly approve and save
- To improve app performance and features through anonymous analytics
4. Data Storage and Security
- All personal account data is stored locally on your device only
- Photos and text are processed securely and deleted immediately after extraction
- We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
- Our backend is hosted on Render with industry-standard security
- We do not maintain a user database on our servers

6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Delete your data: Sign out of the app to remove all locally stored account data
- Revoke Google access: Visit myaccount.google.com/permissions and remove Noticify

7. Children's Privacy
Noticify is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
8. Korean Users (한국 사용자)
For Korean users, this privacy policy complies with the Personal Information Protection Act (개인정보 보호법). As a Korean business registered under Bloomli Co. (사업자등록번호: 164-01-04175), we follow all applicable Korean data protection regulations.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
